Children at the school  raised an amazing £2227.76 by taking part in a sponsored bounce last week. I went along to take photos and see  them in action. They had such a lot of fun – they really put the fun into fundraising.

Big bouncing brings in the cash

Children at Muscliff Primary School bounced their way to raising £2227.76. Children across the school took five minutes out of their day to have some fun and bounce with friends on the bouncy castles set up in the school hall on Wednesday 22nd February.

The money raised will be used to help pay for extras to support the children at the school such as curriculum-enriching art, drama and music sessions or new laptops and digital cameras to help more children have more access to technology.

Caroline Gogan, Chair, Muscliff Parents’ Association said: “It’s been a great event. The children have had loads of fun while raising some money. We are so pleased to have raised so much, and are very thankful to the parents and families for their support and generosity in sponsoring the children to take part.  It’s the donations and generosity of the pupils’ families which makes events like this possible.  The children will be the ones who benefit from their kindness and support.”
