Doris and Daisy shoes in Wimborne has scooped ‘Highly commended new independent ladies retailer’ at the National Footwear Today awards in Birmingham on Sunday 19th February2012. Maria Leese, owner of the boutique shop explained: “I’m so proud to win this award. We’ve only been open 18 months and my business is going from strength to strength. My customers love our shoes and our service and it’s thanks to them that we’ve received this award. We’ve just extended our shop and are launching men’s shoes in March too.
What a week? Lots of copy, releases drafted, photo shoots arranged, product sheets compiled, charity proposals drafted, and a little professional training.
